Safety House Program

The children of Greenwood need to feel safe in our streets. We need to increase our Safety Houses in the area. The protection given to our children is important. Safety Houses considerably reduce dangers faced by children whilst travelling to and from school.

Can you help us by joining the West Greenwood Primary School Safety House Program?

Requirements to become a Safety House:

  • Responsible adults who have a genuine concern for the safety of children in our neighbourhood.
  • Approved applicants need to be home 80% of the time (or 3 days per week) between the hours of 8-9am and 3-4pm Monday to Friday (Early finish 2-3pm on Tuesdays), if you are dropping off & picking up your own children from school and then going straight home you are still able to apply to become a Safety House.
  • All house occupants aged 14 or over must complete a free Criminal Record Check carried out by the Safety House Association of WA in conjunction with WA Police.
